Perioperative introduction programs
The VPNG is committed to the growth and promotion of perioperative nursing.
To help nurses gain the specialist skills required to work in this unique and challenging area, the VPNG has sourced a number of hospitals, both public and private, across Victoria that offer introductory perioperative programs.
Each hospital has varying criteria for applying and the programs differ in length and type of exposure you may gain.
There are opportunities to learn the specialist areas of anaesthesia, instrument and circulating nurse and post-operative recovery.
